XIII Robert Kuwalek Study Trip
On 22-27 October 2023, after a four-year hiatus, the Robert Kuwałek Holocaust History in Western Ukraine and Eastern Poland Seminar was held in cooperation with the UCHS and the "Grodzka Gate – NN Theatre" Centre, with financial support from the Claims Conference and the American Jewish Committee.

Educational and methodological R. Kuwalek study trip “History of the Holocaust in Western Ukraine and Eastern Poland”
2-7 December 2019 the XII educational and methodological R. Kuwalek study trip “History of the Holocaust in Ukraine and Poland” took place as a joint project by Ukrainian Center for Holocaust Studies and the Lublin based Osrodek «Brama Grodska – Teatr NN». 14 educators and multipliers had a possibility to visit memorial sites and take part in thematic workshops and lectures.

XIth Annual R. Kuwalek Study Trip “History of the Holocaust in Ukraine and Poland”
On 15-20 of October 2018 the XIth educational and methodological R. Kuwalek study trip “History of the Holocaust in Ukraine and Poland” was held in Ukraine and Poland. This year 16 participants visited memory sites in Lviv, Zhovkva, Rava-Ruska, Lublin, former territory of the Janowska concentration camp, Lysynychy mass grave site, Majdanek State Museum and Bellec Museum and Memorial.

9th Annual R. Kuwalek Study Trip “History of the Holocaust in Ukraine and Poland”, 22-27 August 2016
On 22-27 August 2016 Ukrainian Center for Holocaust Studies (Kyiv) in cooperation with Center “Teatr Brama Grodzka NN” (Lublin) and Center for Urban History of East-Central Europe (Lviv) held the 9th annual educational and methodical study trip for teachers of history and humanities “History of the Holocaust in Ukraine and Poland”. The seminar gave much space for discussions and exchange of experience.

8th Annual R. Kuwalek Study Trip “History of the Holocaust in Ukraine and Poland”
On 3-8 October 2015 Ukrainian Center for Holocaust Studies (Kyiv) in cooperation with Center “Teatr Brama Grodzka NN” (Lublin) and Center for Urban History of East-Central Europe (Lviv) are holding the 8th annual educational and methodical study trip for teachers of history and humanities “History of the Holocaust in Ukraine and Poland” named after Robert Kuwalek. The study trip became possible owing to the support of American Jewish Committee and the Conference on Jewish Material Claims against Germany.

7th annual seminar “Holocaust history on the territories of Western Ukraine and Poland” June 24-29, 2014

Research-Methodical Seminar "History of the Holocaust on the territories of Western Ukraine and Poland" 7-12 December 2013
Ukrainian Center for Holocaust Studies in cooperation with Majdanek State Museum (Poland) and Center for Urban History of East Central Europe (Lviv) under the support of Claims Conference held on 7-12 December 2013 the following, 6th annual research and methodical seminar for Ukrainian teachers of history and humanities. Traditionally, the seminar comprised lectures and discussions combined with visits to the sites of the Holocaust in Ukraine and Poland.

Educational and Methodical Seminar for Teachers in Poland
Ukrainian Center for Holocaust Studies with the support of the Ministry of Education of Ukraine and in cooperation with Belzec Memorial Museum and Majdanek State Museum held an educational and methodical seminar for Ukrainian teachers of history and humanities "History of the Holocaust in the West of Ukraine and Poland" on 31 March - 5 April 2009.

The Holocaust in Poland and Ukraine Scholarly Seminar for Ukrainian Students
In mid April 2008 Ukrainian Center for Holocaust Studies together with the Polish colleagues from Majdanek and Belzec Memorial Museums held a joint scholarly seminar for students of history and humanities from different Ukrainian universities. The seminar covered various aspects of Jewish life and history in Galitsia (Western Ukraine and Eastern Poland) in the interwar period and during the Nazi occupation of these territories. This was the second such undertaking of the Centre and our Polish partners (first seminar held in March 2007 included history teachers and university students) and we will be doing our best to make this seminar a tradition for educators and future scholars of Ukraine.

Educational Tour to the Belzec Memorial Museum
The Ukrainian Center for Holocaust Studies in cooperation with the Belzec Memorial Museum and with financial support American Jewish Committee (AJC) and the Claims Conference organized an educational Seminar for Ukrainian students and teachers in Poland from the 15th of March until the 21st of March. The main aim of the project was the visit to one of the concentration camps, often left out of the “usual” Holocaust history trips to Poland. Belzec has opened the new memorial site and the museum at the place of the former concentration camp in June 2004.

NGO “Mnemonic” presented an audio film about the Holocaust in Rivne
During the presentation of the audio film Echoes of Sosonky, created by the NGO Mnemonic, visitors heard the story of the tragic events that took place in Rivne in early November 1941. The project is supported by the EVZ Foundation.

“One Stone, One Life: 80 Stumbling Stones for Kyiv”. The Project Continues
The project One Stone, One Life: 80 Stumbling Stones for Kyiv was launched in 2021 and was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Babyn Yar tragedy. The project honours the memory of people whose fate was connected to Babyn Yar, i.e. those who were killed or persecuted by the Nazi regime from 1941 to 1943.

Challenges in Holocaust Studies during the Russian War Against Ukraine. Open Lecture at Vinnytsia Pedagogical University
The NotBox educational and research hub of Mykhailo Kotsiubynskyi Vinnytsia State Pedagogical University recently hosted a guest lecture for students of the Faculty of History and International Relations. The lecture, titled Challenges in Holocaust Studies during the Russian War Against Ukraine, was led by the head of the Ukrainian Centre for Holocaust Studies Anatolii Podolskyi.
