Continuation of the project “Teaching Materials against discrimination, anti-Semitism and xenophobia”, October – November 2014
All-European educational project (comprising 16 countries including Ukraine) founded in 2005 by Anne Frank House and OSCE/ODIHR is back to Ukraine. Within the mentioned project three parts of the Teaching Materials against discrimination, anti-Semitism and xenophobia for students and a teacher’s guide were published back in 2009.

"Teaching Materials against discrimination, anti-Semitism and xenophobia" Seminars held in Kyiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Vinnytsa
As planned, on the 1st of October 2009 the series of Ukrainian implementation seminars withing the European OCSE/ODIHR project on Teaching Materials against discrimination, anti-Semitism and xenophobia was launched. The seminars are aimed at secondary school teachers and set as a goal acquaintance of the teachers with Teaching Materials, methodology of their use in classroom, advice of Ukrainian expert-teachers, basic theoretical knowledge in Jewish history, xenophobia and anti-Semitism

Launch of the Second Stage of the project "Teaching Materials against discrimination, xenophobia and anti-Semitism"
Early October 2009 became the starting point for the second stage of the all-European project "Teaching Materials against discrimination, anti-Semitism and xenophobia". This all-European project under the aegis and support of OSCE/ODIHR (Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights) and active involvement of the Anne Frank House (Amsterdam) started in Ukraine as long ago as 2005 and its first stage included development and publication of Ukrainian versions for three workbooks for secondary school students and a teachers' guide with methodical advice.

Teaching materials against discrimination, xenophobia and anti-Semitism published in Ukraine
Kiev. In March 2008 teaching materials for Ukrainian high school students on the topics of xenophobia, anti-Semitism and racism have been published.

Being part of an international project initiated by the OSCE/ODIHR and the Anne Frank House the materials have been adapted for use in schools in several countries and are available in the official language of each partner state. In each case they were prepared and adapted with experts from the countries concerned, namely the Ukrainian Center for Holocaust Studies and the association "Nova Doba" for Ukraine.

International scientific and methodological seminar “History of genocides in Ukraine: study of experience and contemporary challenges”
Starting in 2022, the UCHS, in cooperation and with funding from the Shoah Memorial (Paris), has been conducting scientific seminars for educators in Ukraine on topics related to the history and memory of genocides on the territory of Ukraine in the global context. The speakers at the seminar are Ukrainian and French scholars. The working languages of the event are Ukrainian and French with simultaneous translation.

The UCHS continues to work on the creation of an online course Methodology of Teaching about the History of the Holocaust in Secondary School. The authors of this course are well-known Ukrainian history teachers, history teaching methodologists, and scholars.
