XXI All-Ukrainian I.B. Medvinsky Competition of Students’ Research and Art Works “History and Lessons of the Holocaust” Winners of the Competition
On the 14th, 16th and 17th June 2021 the XXI All-Ukrainian I.B. Medvinsky Competition of Students’ Research and Art Works“History and Lessons of the Holocaust” took place in Ukraine. This year as well, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the concourse had to be held online.
While defending their art and research works, students were already experienced with the online format. The competition was designed for children, so that it was not necessary to sit in front of a monitor for a long time and to keep the attention of the students. Due to those new conditions, only 26 works have made it to the finals this year. Almost all regions of Ukraine were represented, such as work from all different kinds: research, art, literary and media projects. The research section was also diverse: regional studies, general historical studies, genocides of peoples other than Jews, and heritage issues. Prizes were distributed in three nominations: research works, works of art and literary works.
Congratulations to all winners! We are looking forward to new, interesting and professional works next year.
