2nd Educational-methodical Selective Seminar for Ukrainian History Teachers
From 20-22 August 2009 the second "Educational-methodical Selective Seminar for Ukrainian History Teachers" took place in Yaremche, Ivano-Frankivsk region due to the financial support of the Task Force for International Cooperation on Holocaust Education, Remembrance and Research (ITF).
Thirty participants from eighteen Ukrainian regions were present, not only being given excursions to important historical places related to the Holocaust, but also participating in various workshops. Furthermore Yad Vashem - The Holocaust Martyrs' and Heroes' Remembrance Authority as well as the Memorial de la Shoah - Musee, Centre de Documentation Juive Contemporaine provided experienced historians who contributed to the success of this very seminar by holding their lectures.
A peculiarity constitutes the fact that as of August, 21 about twenty advanced teachers concerning the teaching of Holocaust History were invited to the same location in order to take part in another seminar conducted simultaneously from August 21-22, the focus of which was the exchange of experience and elaboration of methods to improve the teaching of Holocaust History in Ukraine.

The XXVI I.B. Medvynsky All Ukrainian Competition of Student Research and Art Works “History and Lessons of the Holocaust”
On May 16-17, 2026, Kyiv hosted the XXVI I.B. Medvynsky All‑Ukrainian Competition of Student Research and Art Works History and Lessons of the Holocaust. This year, 106 entries were submitted from across Ukraine, with 52 reaching the final stage. Nearly 100 participants from 14 regions took part.

Unveiling of the Stumbling Stone in honour of Isaak Libovych
On May 6, Kyiv unveiled its 15th Stumbling Stone in honour of Isaak Libovych. The ceremony, held on the Day of Remembrance and Victory over Nazism, was part of the international project One Stone - One Life. 80 Stumbling Stones for Kyiv.

Exhibition “(No) Children’s Stories” in Kovel
