Ukraine in European and World History: Contemporary Scientific and Educational Discourse

insidethegatesOn 15 March 2024, the XIII All-Ukrainian Drahomanov Readings of Young Historians "Ukraine in European and World History: Modern Scientific and Educational Discourse" conference was held at the Faculty of History of the Dragomanov Ukrainian State University in a mixed format.

On this day, the faculty and students gathered for a common goal - to carry out research, which is so important, especially during the war.

The plenary session featured scientific reports by Dariusz Rogut (Poland), Oleksandr Lysenko, Dmitri Frolov (Finland), Anatolii Podolskyi, Karen Nikiforov, Mykhailo Zhurba, and Andriy Bulvinskyi. The reports of other speakers will be published in the online conference proceedings, which will be available soon.

  • Seminar ‘How to Talk About the Holocaust with Schoolchildren’

    On 26-28 September 2025, a methodological seminar entitled How to Talk About the Holocaust with Schoolchildren was held in Kyiv. Educators from nine regions of Ukraine gathered to learn, exchange experiences and seek answers to difficult questions. The seminar participants had already successfully completed the online course How to Talk About the Holocaust with Schoolchildren, which began on 10 June 2025, and now had the opportunity to continue their training in the format of direct professional communication.
