The XXIV I.B. Medvinsky All-Ukrainian Competition of Student Works ‘History and Lessons of the Holocaust’
12-13 May, XXIV I.B. Medvinsky All-Ukrainian Competition of Student Works History and Lessons of the Holocaust was held! A total of 39 works were admitted to the final part of the competition. This year the competition was held offline in compliance with all security measures.
We were hospitably welcomed by the Podol-Inn Hotel at the Synagogue on Shchekavytska Street. So, in addition to the presentation programme, the participants had the opportunity to visit the synagogue and learn about the history of Jewish art presented by artist and art historian Iryna Klymova. We would like to express our gratitude to all the participants and their mentors! We thank each of you for your efforts in creating works that carry the memory and important lessons of history. Online Course: How to Talk to Students About the Holocaust
On 10 June 2025, the online course “How to Talk about the Holocaust with Students” was launched. This course was developed by the staff of the Ukrainian Center for Holocaust Studies and implemented in cooperation with leading experts on the topic and the online educational platform Open University of Maidan.
