Educational Course “Genocide of European Jews: Historical Perspectives and Approaches” (Kyiv-Berlin, June-September 2015)
On June 5-7, 2015 Kyiv hosted the first meeting of the educational course for graduate and postgraduate students and young researchers “Genocide of European Jews: Historical Perspectives and Approaches”. The course was made possible due to cooperation with and support of the German Embassy in Ukraine and Memorial and Museum “House of the Wannsee Conference”. During the educational seminar, the participants presented their own research interests and activities and learned about the commemoration of genocide in Ukraine. The group visited State Historical and Memorial Reserve “Bykivnia Graves”, National Museum “Memorial to the Victims of Famines in Ukraine”, Memorial Complex “National Museum of Great Patriotic War” and Babyn Yar. Presently the participants switched to distance learning part of the course: reading the important papers on genocide and commemoration, peculiarities of commemoration and memorialization of genocide victims in Ukraine.

Online Course: How to Talk to Students About the Holocaust
On 10 June 2025, the online course “How to Talk about the Holocaust with Students” was launched. This course was developed by the staff of the Ukrainian Center for Holocaust Studies and implemented in cooperation with leading experts on the topic and the online educational platform Open University of Maidan.
