On 29 November 2024, at 11.00 a.m., Zhytomyr Ivan Franko State University will host an open lecture by the head of the Ukrainian Centre for Holocaust Studies, PhD in History Anatolii Podolskyi on ‘Challenges in the Study of Holocaust History during the Russian War against Ukraine’ as part of the Visiting Professors programme.

"Hide-and-seek with death" play about the Holocaust premieres in Chernivtsi
On 11 April 2025, the Hryhorii Aheiev Folk Drama Theatre and the Bu-Bu-Bu Children's Theatre Studio premiered a performance in Chernivtsi based on the graphic novel Hide and Seek with Death. Children Stories about Non-Children History, written by the team of authors: Anna Yamchuk, Mykola Kushnir, Anna Tarnovetska and Nataliia Gerasym.
