The XIII Annual Round table discussion “Holocaust Commemoration and the Ukrainian Society: Research and Educational Aspects”.

On 27 of January 2020 Ukrainian Center for Holocaust Studies and Goethe-Institut in Ukraine under the support of the Embassy of the State of Israel to Ukraine held the XIII annual round table discussion “Holocaust Commemoration and the Ukrainian Society: Research and Educational Aspects”. It took place on the occasion of the International Holocaust Remembrance Day. The round table consisted of three sessions and a session of book publications presentation where 17 reports dedicated to various aspects of the Holocaust research were presented. More than 120 participants (teachers, students, scholars, public figures) from all over Ukraine visited our meeting.

    On April 10, 2026, a discussion was held at the Sens bookstore in Kyiv, organized by Hromadske Radio in partnership with UNESCO Ukraine. The event explored the history of Ukrainian-Jewish relations, cultural influences, shared traumas, and identity formation.
