The XXI. All-Ukrainian competition of student works on "History and lessons of the Holocaust" I.B. Medvinsky (2021 - 2022 academic year)

insidethegatesThe Ukrainian Center for Holocaust Studies supported by partners gives notice of the annual competition of research and creative works on “History and lessons of the Holocaust”. It is named after I. B. Medvinsky in the academic year of 2021/2022 among students of secondary comprehensive institutions.

Applications must be submitted until 10th February 2022 by filling out the linked questionnaire:

Completed works must be submitted by April 10, 2022

The defense of the works will take place in May 2022.

  • Seminar ‘How to Talk About the Holocaust with Schoolchildren’

    On 26-28 September 2025, a methodological seminar entitled How to Talk About the Holocaust with Schoolchildren was held in Kyiv. Educators from nine regions of Ukraine gathered to learn, exchange experiences and seek answers to difficult questions. The seminar participants had already successfully completed the online course How to Talk About the Holocaust with Schoolchildren, which began on 10 June 2025, and now had the opportunity to continue their training in the format of direct professional communication.
