insidethegatesStarting the year with a powerful event - from January 19 to 30, 2026, Odesa will host the exhibition (No) Children’s Stories for the first time.

The exhibition is organized and hosted by Odesa Lyceum No. 56 of the Odesa City Council, whose students will serve as guides for their peers.

Until the end of January, 10th-grade students - Serhii Doroshenko, Vladyslav Kramarenko, Polina Pohorilovska, Dariia Prodanyets, and Sofiia Khomenko - under the guidance of teacher Kostiantyn Holoborodov, will lead visitors through the stories of children, teenagers, and young people from Ukraine and across Europe who lived during World War II and today, and who faced hatred, discrimination, and persecution. Together, guides and visitors will search within these stories for examples of humanity, kindness, and the ability to move forward despite tragedy.

As a reminder, the project and exhibition (No) Children’s Stories was created by the Ukrainian Center for Holocaust Studies and is being implemented with the support of the international project Learning to Remember of the Düsseldorf Jewish community.
