Open Lecture at the Donetsk Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education
On April 2, 2026, an online lecture was held in Kramatorsk as part of the series “Historical Education for All. Myths and Facts: Between Legend and Reality.”
Dr. Anatolii Podolskyi, Director of the Ukrainian Center for Holocaust Studies, spoke on the theme “Memory of Holocaust Victims in Ukraine as a Form of Resilience and a Weapon Against Russian War and Propaganda.” His lecture emphasized the importance of preserving historical memory as a foundation of national identity and as intellectual resistance to manipulation and propaganda.
The event was moderated by Liliia Denysova of the Donetsk Regional Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education and gathered about 90 history and social studies teachers from the region.
