    On 29 November 2024, Anatolii Podolskyi, Head of the Ukrainian Center for Holocaust Studies, gave a lecture on Challenges in the Study of Holocaust History during the Russian War against Ukraine for students and teachers of the History Faculty of Zhytomyr Ivan Franko State University as part of the university's Visiting Professors programme.

  • (No) Children’s Stories Exhibition in Chernihiv region

    During several weeks in November, our colleagues from Kozelets Lyceum №3 in Chernihiv region worked on (No)Children's Stories. Despite the difficult working conditions, six guides - students of the 8th, 9th and 10th grades - and their teacher, Mr Ihor Karas, were able to introduce the exhibition to more than 300 people, including students of grades 6-11 and teachers of local schools.

    The Local History website has published an extended interview with the director of the Ukrainian Centre for Holocaust Studies, Anatolii Podolskyi, entitled ‘Citizens of Ukraine are now under the same threat as Jews in the Third Reich.’ The Local History platform is an online archive of oral history and visual sources known in Ukraine and abroad, created to preserve historical heritage.

  • Interview as a part of the House of Memory project in Chernivtsi

    Russia's full-scale aggression against Ukraine has not only resulted in significant human losses and destruction but has also caused a reassessment of values, a transformation of collective memory, and a revision of society's perspective on past events.   • (No) Children’s Stories Exhibition in Kozelets

    This autumn, our colleagues from Kozelets Lyceum №3 in Chernihiv Oblast wanted to host the exhibition. We are truly inspired by the experience of working with our new colleagues, who contacted us with this initiative despite the very difficult conditions for educational work.
