Filling the Silence: Stories of Survivors of the Babyn Yar shootings
The media outlet Local History has published an essay by one of our researchers, Tetiana Shyshkina, historian and PhD candidate at the University of Hesse. For the Stolpersteine project, she and her sister researched and prepared the biography of Rakhil Kozyra - a deeply personal story.
The project was initiated by the [German Embassy in Kyiv / Deutsche Botschaft Kyjiw] and implemented by the Ukrainian Center for Holocaust Studies in cooperation with the Educational Center “Space of Tolerance” and the Kyiv City State Administration.

Learning from the Past - Acting for the Future. Training on Holocaust History and Human Rights. Seminar in Lithuania
The Olga Lengyel Institute (TOLI), together with the International Commission in Lithuania and the Jewish Community of Lithuania, held a five‑day seminar in Vilnius: “Learning from the Past – Acting for the Future.” The program brought together educators from across Lithuania, Ukraine, and Poland to deepen their understanding of the Holocaust, antisemitism, human rights, and effective teaching practices.
