The 14th Annual Educational and Methodical Seminar in Holocaust Studies for Ukrainian Teachers at Yad Vashem, 2019
On November 17-25, 2019 the 14th annual seminar for Ukrainian educators was held at Yad Vashem International School for Holocaust Studies (ISHS) in cooperation with the Ukrainian Center for Holocaust Studies (UCHS) and owing to the financial support of the Association of Jewish Organizations and Communities of Ukraine (Vaad of Ukraine). This time 23 alumni of our summer-school and some other projects of UCHS took part. They enjoyed the intensive and interesting programme, great study trips, visits to holy sites and exceptionally supportive atmosphere. Following the seminar the participants will bring the new knowledge and skills to their classrooms.

Seminar ‘How to Talk About the Holocaust with Schoolchildren’
On 26-28 September 2025, a methodological seminar entitled How to Talk About the Holocaust with Schoolchildren was held in Kyiv. Educators from nine regions of Ukraine gathered to learn, exchange experiences and seek answers to difficult questions. The seminar participants had already successfully completed the online course How to Talk About the Holocaust with Schoolchildren, which began on 10 June 2025, and now had the opportunity to continue their training in the format of direct professional communication.
