Yesterday, today, tomorrow. Tracks of national-socialist occupation of Ukraine. May 14-16, 2014, Kyiv

Ukrainian Center for Holocaust Studies in cooperation with Institute of History of Ukraine, National Academy of Science of Ukraine with the help of National Academy of Science of Ukraine, Kuras Institute of Political and Ethnic Studies and Konrad Adenauer Foundation.
During the seminar we discussed such phenomena as forced work, Holocaust and everyday life in occupation. The aim of the seminar was to try to compare modern German narratives about the occupation with the ones, which are widespread in Ukraine.

  • Seminar ‘How to Talk About the Holocaust with Schoolchildren’

    On 26-28 September 2025, a methodological seminar entitled How to Talk About the Holocaust with Schoolchildren was held in Kyiv. Educators from nine regions of Ukraine gathered to learn, exchange experiences and seek answers to difficult questions. The seminar participants had already successfully completed the online course How to Talk About the Holocaust with Schoolchildren, which began on 10 June 2025, and now had the opportunity to continue their training in the format of direct professional communication.
