UCHS introduces a new section in the social network
The Ukrainian Center for Holocaust Studies is introducing a new section #PhotoHistory (#ІсторіяФото) on its official Facebook page, and the first thing we want to do is share a memory from the Robert Kuwalek Research and Education Seminar held last autumn.
This photo was taken in Lviv after the first two days of classes, workshops, and excursions and before visiting the sites in Lublin and Bełżec. It reflects the moment of inspiration of a cohesive group, when all participants took the first steps of studying, workshops, excursions, and are ready for the challenges of visiting memorial sites in Poland.
🗯 Are there any participants of this project among our followers? Do you have a special photo from this seminar? What do you remember the most? Write in the comments!
The project was resumed in 2023, despite all the challenges, thanks to our partners - the Brama Hrodska-Theatre NN branch and with the financial support of the Claims Conference and the American Jewish Committee!
