Online Course: Methods of Teaching Holocaust History in Secondary School

insidethegatesThe UCHS is creating a new online course for history and civic education teachers Methods of Teaching Holocaust in Secondary Schools to help teachers gain a deeper understanding of this complex topic and effectively integrate it into the educational process.

Who is this course for?

The training course is aimed at improving the skills of those teachers who have already started or plan to start systematically teaching the Holocaust. It supports educators who are unafraid to tackle complex historical topics and are committed to fostering empathy, critical thinking, respect for human rights, tolerance, and media literacy in their students.

The course was made possible with the assistance of the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany and the support of the German Federal Ministry of Finance.
