International scientific and methodological seminar “History of genocides in Ukraine: study of experience and contemporary challenges”
Starting in 2022, the UCHS, in cooperation and with funding from the Shoah Memorial (Paris), has been conducting scientific seminars for educators in Ukraine on topics related to the history and memory of genocides on the territory of Ukraine in the global context. The speakers at the seminar are Ukrainian and French scholars. The working languages of the event are Ukrainian and French with simultaneous translation.
In 2025, the seminar will be held on 27-29 June in Kyiv.
This year, the seminar is open to educators from Odesa and the region (up to 15 people) and Kyiv (up to 10 people). Kyiv and the region (up to 10 people).

Please note: the organisers of the event will provide meals (coffee, lunches) and educational materials.
The organisers provide accommodation only for participants from Odesa and Odesa region. Participants from Kyiv and Kyiv region should organise their accommodation (if necessary) on their own.
All travel expenses are covered by the participants themselves.
Participation in all programme activities is mandatory.
All participants will receive certificates.
Applications are accepted until May 26.
Expect a response regarding participation by May 30.
