In the beginning of June 2021 the international seminar “Holocaust history. Ukrainian-Polish dialogue” took place, initialized by the “Mémorial de la Shoah” (Paris) and organized by the UCHS in cooperation with the POLIN-museum (Warsaw).
40 Ukrainian and Polish teachers took part and reflected about the following aspects during the four-day seminar: Holocaust history on the territory of Eastern Europe, the Ukrainian-Polish-Jewish relationship before and during the time of World War 2, the Volhynia Massacres in 1943-1944, such as current nationalist movements in Ukraine and Poland.
The seminar has been held in a friendly atmosphere and we hope for the continuing of the cooperation with our French and Polish colleagues.
